Hi! I'm Kayla Gayle, a freelance journalist specializing in entertainment journalism while also covering local community news. I write news and feature stories and capture original photography to accompany my reporting. 

I have a passion for telling stories that spotlight diverse voices, particularly people of color, and for exploring the intersections of culture, lifestyle and community. I have written for Envi Media, where I've covered album breakdowns, artist interviews, and in-depth reports of music culture. I've contributed to The Community Paper, Oviedo Community News and The Charge covering local news and community stories.
